5. Concept- Explain work of an artist using a video Students will be assigned an artist that they need to research. After they have done their research they will put together a video that explains their findings. Benefits to students: It gets them actively involved in their learning They learn to use many forms of self-expression to relay their research.

6. Story- Create a storyboard of original student story. Students write an original story that they want to convert to video in the future. Students can draw out the major scenes that will take place in their story. Benefits to students: Learn how properly plan for a video. Provided an outlet where they can add images and words together to bring their story to life. Helps with sequencing events

7. Ideas-Using podcast to critique work Students can critique their peers artwork and their own. Students can upload podcast to class site so that the entire class can access it. Benefits to students: Appealing to auditory learners. Better student engagement in topics/increase in student interest. Learn project managing skills.

Digital storytelling As the ARCS motivational model states , we need to make sure that we are gaining students attention, making the work relevant, providing them with a challenge, and giving them the opportunity for success in a digitally creative way.
