Punjab Examination Commission (PEC) is an education body in Pakistan, which is responsible for conducting various examination in the province of Punjab. PEC 5th and 8th class results are usually declared on March 31.

Punjab Examination Commission (PEC) is an education
body in Pakistan, which is responsible for conducting
various examination in the province of Punjab.
PEC came into existence in 2005 and it conducted 5th
grade examination first time in 2006. Since then the
council is responsible for conducting 5th and 8th class
examinations and declaring results.
PEC was established by the Government of the Punjab.

3. Boards of Education, Pakistan
Education system in Pakistan is managed by the
Government of Pakistan. There are 9 boards of
intermediate and secondary education (BISE) for total 36
districts in Pakistan.
These education boards are named as BISE. BISE
manages education and conducts examination for
students in its affiliated private and public schools.

The 5th class examination is conducted by the Punjab
Examination Commission every year for students from all
education boards in Pakistan.
5th class examination is important because it is conducted
as the final year of the primary education system.
PEC conducts 5th class exams usually in the month of

The 8th class examination is conducted by the Punjab
Examination Commission every year for students from all
education boards in the province of Punjab.
8th class examination is important because it is conducted
as the final year of the middle education system.

February and March. The exam is conducted common for
all 8th class students from various boards across Punjab.
