- Ascertica specialises in the provision of offshore software development and testing services from multiple offshore centres located at different Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities in China. We were founded in 2006? Previously known as Shinetech UK, renamed as Ascertica in 2008? Our original company Shineteck UK was the first Chinese ITO in the UK and we want to develop our first mover advantage. Our objectives are to build client relationships in the UK and Europe, e.g. Holland, Nordics. At the same time we are keen to build on our resources in China, growing small trouble shooting and delivery technical teams in the local geographies. Another potential area is to help local companies enter Chinese market and build presence based on the resource we have in China.
- We are able to effectively deliver a wide variety of services and technologies using a flexible engagement model that focuses on the creation of customised solutions, mutually beneficial long term partnerships and cost advantage. As for engagement models, we can help on building an Offshore Development and Testing Centre (ODTC), which means that there will be a dedicated development and/or testing team, located in one of our locations in China for the purposes of software development, testing and support. We also have fixed price for specifically defined project, or time & material model for ongoing software enhancements. We can also bring resources on-site to your organisation to work together with your IT team.

- The time difference between central Europe and China is 7 hours. We tend to use Agile development methodology which helps us closely track our progress and keeps the project on course. As part of the agile methodology we hold regular meetings within the team and also invite our clients to meet with us via online meeting tools such as go to my meeting or citrix.
