3. Why Haiti?
Because in the Western Hemisphere, Haiti has the:
- Lowest per capita income ($1,300)
- Highest infant mortality rate (50.92 / 1,000 live births)
- 60% of people do not have access to health
care
- 0.25 physicians / 1,000 population
- Average life expectancy is 62.85 years old

4. Financials
Each motorbike ambulance costs $6,500
The U.S. Military’s Denton Program is offering pro
bono shipping from the motorbike factory to Haiti
10% of the $10,000 goes to Kickstarter and Amazon
fees, leaving us with $9,000
$2,500 will pay for Haitian import fees, taxes, and
$0.13 / km motorbike running costs
