The Grimm Brother’s Fairytales All the tales collected were of magical, scary, comedic, and often violent journey into the forests of ancient Germany and France where every path leads to mystery and adventure Not always intended for children Rewritten several times and over the years -- Tales gradually got softer, sweeter Each tale had multiple lessons Little Red Riding Hood is known as Rotkäppchen in German.
