Childhood obesity has more than tripled
in the past 30 years.
In 2008, more than 1/3 of children and
adolescents were over weight or obese.
70% of obese youth has at least one risk
factor for cardiovascular disease.
In 2012 for Florida alone, 26.6% of the
population are obese.
