ADMINISTRATION
• Administration concept:
  The Administration is not a word has a meaning a
  general acceptance of his status as they may
  definition different terms, but the overall concept
  of management can be formulated as:
  'A set of distinct activities directed towards
  efficient and effective use of resources, for the
  purpose of achieving the goal, or set of goals'.
  This the overall concept:
  An administrative work includes a set of distinct
  activities, and these activities can be classified into
  four classifications are:
• [Planning, organization, direction, control].
•
DEFINITION OF ADMINISTRATION :


• "is effective and efficient use of human resources,
  material and financial, information, ideas and time
  through the administrative processes of planning,
  organization, direction and control in order to
  achieve objectives"
THIS MEANS RESOURCES:

•
    - Human Resources: The people who work in the
    organization.
    - Material resources: everything that exists in the
    organization of the buildings, equipment and machinery
    - Financial resources: All amounts of money that is used
    for the conduct of on going and long-term investments.
    - information and ideas: including numbers, facts and
    laws and regulations.
    - Time: the time available to complete the work.
• - Effectiveness:
  are intended to achieve the objectives of the
  Organization

  - Efficiency:
  It means the use of economic resources: the
  economy in the use of resources and get the
  best benefit and good use of them.
MANAGEMENT IS THE ART OR SCIENCE ?

• Management is Art as it has to be the
  manager that has the ability to apply personal
  thoughts and theories and management
  principles in an intelligent way and to reflect
  the politic expertise, experience and practice.

• Management is science because we are
  studying in universities theories, principles
  and ideas of management and thus can be
  said that management is the art and science
  at the same time, science teaches Human to
  know "" To Know one knows that while the art
  works "" To Do.
MANAGEMENT FUNCTIONS:
First: Planning :
  Represents one of the functions of management. A report in
advance what must be done in the future to achieve the goals
established during the specified period of time. Is the work
before implementation.
We see from the definition that the planning work before
implementation, and forecasting is an essential part in the
planning process, provided that the predictable result of this
experience in the past, and planning result in the general
objectives and detailed investigation needs to develop a plan
is selected the time and procedures needed for
implementation.
PLANNING BENEFITS:

 1 - planning is the starting point for the implementation of
the rest of management functions.
 2 - Planning helps the organization to face competition in the
market.
 3 - Good planning leads to coordination between different
departments and sections, and increases understanding and
cooperation between individuals and leads to the optimal use
of resources and reduce production costs and raise quality in
the products.
 4 - protects the organization from any shocks or surprises you
may encounter the organization in the future.
PLANNING PROCESS:


Planning process consists of a set of stages:
1 – Put the Goals
2 - foreseeing
3 - Determine the tasks and duties
4 - Identification of possibilities
PLANNING CONSTRAINTS:

 1 - difficulty of arriving to accurate foreseeing about the
environmental variables in the activity of the organization.
 2 - the difficulty of obtaining adequate and reliable information on
which the process of planning and defining goals.
 3 - planning process seeking the of change and development,
innovation and find in most cases, resistance from some leaders
and individuals.
 4 - lack of commitment by some staff of the administrative leaders
and other influential individuals to the planning process.
 5 - the planning process need to be deep pockets and need time
and effort to accomplish this may not be available in the
Organization.
SECOND: ORGANIZATION

" Organization is a framework that collects and arranges and
coordinates the efforts of individuals in order to achieve specific
objectives"
Represents one of the functions of management. It means all the
work on which to activities and functions of the Organization, such
as the function of financial and marketing and to identify
departments
(such as financial management and marketing management), and
its divisions and its committees, and relationships of these
components with each other through the identification of authority
and responsibility, delegation, and centralization and
decentralization, and the scope of supervision .. And others in order
to achieve the goal.
ELEMENTS OF THE ORGANIZATION:


1 - individuals working in the organization
2 - work of the Organization
3 - the resources available in the Organization
4 - activities, procedures and lines of authority
5 - Distribution of employee and the relationship between
     them and the lines of communication
6 - to identify functions and powers and responsibilities of
     staff
BENEFITS OF ORGANIZATION:


1 - Coordination of efforts between the
   administrative units
2 - Defining Specialization
3 - interest in Highlight activities
4 - not to waste
5 - Cooperation between staff
6 - job stability
THIRD: DIRECTING AND SUPERVISION:


Is to guide and motivate subordinates in the execution of the
work in order to achieve the objectives of the organization.
We need directive in order to ensure the safety of the
application set in plans and the proper use of organizational
relationships.
SUPERVISION : PROVIDES US WITH THREE TOPICS:


    1.Communication, 2.leadership and supervision, 3.human motivation.
•   First: Contact:
    A process whereby the transfer or financing of information and opinions .... From
    side to side to inform them and influence their behavior and thinking, and
    directing them in the right direction required in order to ensure business
    continuity in the organization.

•   Second: Leadership and Supervision:
    The main task of the leader is to make the effort and work to influence his
    subordinates and direct their activities in an atmosphere of cooperation towards
    the achievement of the target originally in the plan.
•   Third : human motivation:
    Known as force or sense of internal moves and activates the behavior of the
    individual to satisfy the needs and desires of a certain order to alleviate the
    tensions associated with a lack of satisfying those needs and desires.
FOURTH: CONTROLLING

     Represents one of the administrative functions which is a process of assessing the
    actual activity of the administrative organization and compared the activity of the
    administrative scheme, and then identify deviations in a descriptive way in order
    to take or the amount necessary to address the deviations.

•   Control provide us with the following functions:

    1. Make sure that the functions of management are being implemented according
    to what is planned.
    2. Reveal negative deviations and treatment and to identify and strengthen the
    positive deviations.
    3. Aimed to make optimum use of financial and human resources, material and
    raise production efficiency.
    4. Reveal to us the level of actual performance of individuals

  • 3. DEFINITION OF ADMINISTRATION : • "is effective and efficient use of human resources, material and financial, information, ideas and time through the administrative processes of planning, organization, direction and control in order to achieve objectives"

THIS MEANS RESOURCES: • - Human Resources: The people who work in the organization. - Material resources: everything that exists in the organization of the buildings, equipment and machinery - Financial resources: All amounts of money that is used for the conduct of on going and long-term investments. - information and ideas: including numbers, facts and laws and regulations. - Time: the time available to complete the work.
  • 5. • - Effectiveness: are intended to achieve the objectives of the Organization - Efficiency: It means the use of economic resources: the economy in the use of resources and get the best benefit and good use of them.
  • 6. MANAGEMENT IS THE ART OR SCIENCE ? • Management is Art as it has to be the manager that has the ability to apply personal thoughts and theories and management principles in an intelligent way and to reflect the politic expertise, experience and practice.

SECOND: ORGANIZATION " Organization is a framework that collects and arranges and coordinates the efforts of individuals in order to achieve specific objectives" Represents one of the functions of management. It means all the work on which to activities and functions of the Organization, such as the function of financial and marketing and to identify departments (such as financial management and marketing management), and its divisions and its committees, and relationships of these components with each other through the identification of authority and responsibility, delegation, and centralization and decentralization, and the scope of supervision .. And others in order to achieve the goal.

Make sure that the functions of management are being implemented according to what is planned. 2. Reveal negative deviations and treatment and to identify and strengthen the positive deviations. 3.
