•	PeopleSoft HCM system
	 needed to be upgraded
	 in 90 days
•	Astute performs upgrade
	 along with required
	 customizations without
	 disrupting client operations
a huge amount of data that needed to be
integrated into the new system. It also needed
a large number of customizations and required
the new system to integrate seamlessly with its
current third party application.
The challenge was to perform the required
upgrade concurrently with the customizations
and the development phases within the
required timeframe – without disrupting
Business-as-Usual.
•	PeopleSoft HCM Upgrade from 8.8 to 9.0 in 90 days.
•	Complete customizations of online and offline objects
•	Design of new interfaces for integrating “eTrack” (a 3rd party application) data with
	 PeopleSoft HCM.

annual revenues of $2.5B was operating
under a tight deadline. It needed to
upgrade its PeopleSoft HCM 8.8 system to
PeopleSoft 9.0 within a short timeframe.

Day Accelerated Upgrade Methodology
which leveraged both its Onsite and
Offshore resources to:
•	 Deliver a low-cost PeopleSoft HCM
	 upgrade within the required timeframe.
•	 Integrate the data from the 3rd party
	 application, eTrack, into the PeopleSoft
	 system using AE and CI programs
•	 Apply complex customizations for
	 implementing PeopleSoft 9.0 features
	 and facilitating future upgrades
