John Wood founded Room to Read in 2000 after being inspired on a trek in Nepal to help less fortunate students. Director of Business Development for the
Greater China Region in order to found
Room to Read. He has never looked back.

organization when he was trekking in
Nepal.

enthusiasm of the less fortunate teachers
and students.
