This document provides instructions for creating a construction paper landscape containing grass, trees, clouds, and other natural elements. It outlines 5 steps: 1) Cutting and coloring grass, 2) Creating tree trunks and tops, 3) Making blue clouds, 4) Adding a minimum of 8 additional natural objects, and 5) Framing and reviewing the finished landscape. The instructions specify which colors and materials to use for each element and provide examples of additional objects that could be included.

Leave top stripe plain
so the green
construction paper can
still be seen.
Glue grass cutout to
black background paper
matching up bottom

of black paper.
10. Step 2: Trees
Create two tree trunks
and two tree tops.
Any pattern can be
used making sure to
leave at least one part
of pattern plain.
Always match color to
construction paper.
Any value of that color
is OK.
11. Trees Continued
Glue tree trunks
followed by tree tops to
picture.
Try to space evenly
apart to create a nice
balance.
12. Step 3: Clouds
Use blue construction
paper to create two
clouds.
Color pattern must use
blue of any value.
Make sure to again
leave at least one stripe
plain so construction
paper can be seen.
14. Step 4: Anything Goes
Anything can be added
to fill the rest of space
left in landscape.
Must be natural
elements but can not
include animals or
people.
A minimum of 8 more
objects must be added.
17. Step 5: Review and Finish
When landscape is
finished make sure it
has:
•One section of grass.
•Two trees.
•Two clouds
•At least eight
additional objects.
Frame with a color
piece of construction
paper.
