9. Why?
1. In Chile shows a problem of inequality and inequity in
training for the managers of Telecentres, which results in
an imbalance of capabilities, directly affecting users of the
Center.
3. It is necessary to reshape the profile of the operator,
solving the need for continuous training to achieve the
social objectives pursued by the Telecentres, not only as
places of access to ICT, but as gateways to the inclusion of
social groups vulnerable in Chilean society.
10. What do the students of the academy?

11. What do the students of the academy?
Mr. Rómulo Elgueta, telecentre operator, Chile
“The academy should be teach how learn to learn. It is essential for people who
work in knowledge, the telecentre operator, in a society where we are
bombarded with data and information, learn how to organize this knowledge to
use it effectively. We are missing new strategies for the process to be
successful, fluid and to be transferred to others. This means providing the
individual of the community with a battery of tools to learn, developing their
capabilities, preparing the way for learning to think in a full and creative way.”
