When I worked in Photoshop for

my preliminary task, it was my
Levels first time ever to use. I used a
limited amount of tools, as I did
Exposure not know most of the tools’
functions, and this is of course

noticeable in my preliminary
Magnetic lasso task. But through working with
both my preliminary task, and
Text effects with my final product, my skills
have developed. Now I can use
Opacity
a lot more tools, know more
Eye dropper shortcuts, and I am more in the
position to “play around” with
the different tools and settings.

7. 2) Planning,
research skills
For the preliminary task, no
research of the audience or
planning was needed, but for
my final product, these stages of
the process are very important.
Through doing research and
planning I have developed skills
in all the software and hardware
technologies I have used during
the processes, and my eyes
have opened to the actual
amount of time and resources
that goes into these stages, and
how important they are.
