1. Ominshambles: A situation that has been comprehensively mismanaged,
characterized by a string of blunders and miscalculations.
2. Games Maker: A volunteer responsible for helping the public at an
Olympic venue during the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
3. Medal : To win a medal in a sporting event or competition by finishing
first, second, or third.
4. Second screening: the practice or activity of watching television while
simultaneously using a smartphone, tablet computer, laptop, or other
screen device, typically in order to read about the programme being
watched or post about it on a social media site.
5. Mobot: A characteristic gesture as performed by the British long-distance
runner Mo Farah on winning the 5,000 and 10,000 metres events at the
2012 Olympics, in which both arms are arched above the head with the
hands pointing down to the top of the head to form a distinctive ’M’
shape.
6. YOLO : ‘You only live once’, typically used as a rationale or endorsement
for impulsive or irresponsible behaviour.

1. Where did you go and why? My last holidays were in Gran Canaria.
2. Who did you go with? With my mum.
3. When did you go and how long did you stay? I went on 29th
December and I stay there 9 days.
4. What was the weather like? The weather there was warm.
5. Did you have any special food? No I didn’t
6. Did you visit any monuments? I did a lot of excursions and I saw a
lot of things.
7. Did you do any kind of sightseeing? Yes I think that doing
sightseeing is a essential part for having a fantastic holidays

10. Did you buy any souvenirs? Yes, for my family.
11. How did you travel? Was it a long trip? I travelled by plane. The
journey took almost three hours.

take? I take a suitcase because we stayed there a long time. I took
clothe and all that stuff that everybody takes for a holidays

it’s a very nice and comfortable place for all kind of holidays.
