                                Architecture

► EA is a structured and integrated approach to business
                    and IT transformation.
► Enterprise Architects are key agents of such change and
their performance is critically dependent on soft skills
  around leadership, communications and empowerment.
► These softer skills plus an effective partnership with the
business will lead to a successful use of EA in business
                        transformation.

  Elevating Enterprise
      Architecture

► By pitching a value proposition to Business
Leaders and other key stakeholders in their
language, the Architects will be viewed as a
partner, rather than “just the technical
   specialist”.
► The Softer Skills increasingly prevalent as a deal
   breaker in many hiring decisions.
► Executives are measured on their ability to
motivate an organisation, to make clear and
well-balanced decisions and their ability to
develop and communicate ideas and visions.

The Value To An Organisation

Organisations continually face pressures to gain and retain competitive
advantage, identify ways of cutting costs, improve quality, reduce time to
market, etc. Maturity models have been developed to assist organisations
in this endeavour.

Enables greater efficiency in the utilization of resources and prioritizes
projects by creating a roadmap for a target Enterprise Architecture
maturity level. Good Enterprise Architecture develops effective change
management, maximises re-use of data, identifies and corrects
inefficiencies with compliance to governance and best practice standards.

A standard methodology enables a stable state of maturity development
to be reached and for incremental improvements to be made over time.
