from a wheel that turns on
a center post.
 The larger the wheel is, the
less force will be needed to
move the load.

7. SCREW
 It is an inclined plane
wrapped around a pole
which holds things together
or lifts materials.
 The force and the load
move in the same
direction, as the force
pushes down on the
screw, it goes down into the
wood.

8. WEDGE
 is an inclined plane comes
together ending in a sharp
edge, which cuts material
apart.
 it may be used to lift or pry
apart heavy objects.

9. INCLINED
PLANE
An inclined plane
is a slanting surface
connecting a lower
level to a higher
level.
Its example is a
ramp.
