This will show you ways to invite and remind attendees while the meeting is in progress.

2. • After you start your meeting, you may find
that you forgot to invite a stakeholder or
someone else who should be in the
meeting.
• This guide will show you various methods
available to the host for sending invitations
or reminders while the meeting is in
progress.

3. Invite More
• To invite someone
after you start your
meeting:
• Select Invite &
Remind on the Quick
Start page

4. Invite & Remind Dialog Box
• The Invite and Remind dialog
box appears
• You can invite someone to the
meeting by
• Email: invite by WebEx or
your own email.
• Phone: Enter the invitee
name and phone number and
select Call.
• Text message (SMS): Enter
the invitee mobile number and
select Send.
• IM: Invite by WebEx or your Remind

own IM.

5. To send an email invitation
• On the Email tab do one of the
following:
• Enter one or more email
addresses and select Send to
have WebEx send the invitation
emails.
OR
• Click the link to send invitations
using your own email program
• (MS Outlook or Lotus Notes
only).

6. To invite people by phone:
• On the Phone
tab, enter the invitee
name and phone
number.
• Select Call.

7. To invite more people using WebEx IM
• Note: Start your
WebEx IM if it is not
currently running
• On the IM tab, select
Invite

8. Invite More dialog box:
• The Invite More dialog box
Appears
• Type a screen or domain
name for the participant
• Click the Plus button to
add the name to the list of
participants.

9. To invite more people using another IM
• Select Copy at the
bottom of the dialog
box, then paste the
URL into your own IM
and

10. To invite by text message
• On the SMS tab, enter
the invitee mobile
phone number.
• Select Send.

11. To remind someone to join your meeting
• Select the Remind tab. All
invitees who are not in the
meeting are automatically
chosen to receive the reminder.
1) Uncheck the box beside any
person you don't want to
remind.
2) Select Send Reminder.
• An email reminder is sent to
each person selected
