 It is an online social
networking and microblogging service.
 Twitter was created in March 2006 by Jack
Dorsey and launched that July.
 Twitter rapidly gained worldwide popularity, with
200 million users as of 2011.

6. BLOGGER:
 Blogger is a blog-publishing service that allows
private or multi-user blogs with time-stamped
entries.
 It was created by Pyra Labs, which was bought
by Google.
 In July2011 a news outlet announced that
Google intends to change the name of the
service from "Blogger" to "Google Blogs”.

7. PB.WORKS
 PBworks is a commercial real-time collaborative
editing system created by David Weekly.
 A number of business and corporations use
PBworks to create private wikis for employees
 One case study from CNN described a legal firm
which had transitioned to PBworks as a
document management system in order to cut
their IT costs.

8. WORDPRESS
 WordPress is a free and open source
blogging tool and publishing platform powered
by PHP and MySQL.
 It is often customized into a content
management system.
 WordPress users may install and switch
between themes.
 Themes allow users to change the look and
functionality

9. SECOND LIFE
 Second Life is an online virtual world
developed by Linden Lab.
 It was launched on June 23, 2003.
 A number of free client programs, or
Viewers enable Second Life users,
called Residents, to interact with each other
through avatars.

10. PICASA
 Picasa is an image organizer and image viewer
for organizing and editing digital photos
 For organizing photos, Picasa has file importing
and tracking features
 It also offers several basic photo editing
functions, including red eye reduction
and cropping.

11. YOUTUBE
 YouTube is a video-sharing
website, created by three former PayPal
employees
 Where users can upload, view and share
videos.
 They can also comment on the videos, like
or dislike them.

 Google is an American multinational public
corporation invested in Internet search
 Google hosts and develops a number of
Internet-based services and products
 Google's rapid growth since its incorporation has
triggered a chain of products and partnerships
beyond the company's core web search engine.

13. GOOGLE +
 Google + is a social networking and identity
service operated by Google.
 Google+ integrates social services such as Google
Profiles and Google Buzz
 Google+ is available as a web site, and will be
available as a desktop application.
