This quarter we layout, like a well stocked picnic, a spread of the different ways
you can take bolder steps to grow your robust and sustainable arts practices and
creative businesses.
The theme being following your dreams and passions.

Tune in to find out more about how following my dream of being involved in the
2012 Olympic games saw me moving back from Wiltshire and re-inventing
myself at the heart of East London’s Cultural Quarter. First successfully running
a range of community arts programmes and now my third creative business.
Plus hear how after 3 years of applications, interviews and training saw me
achieve my goal of becoming a London Ambassador. I even managed to manifest
another long cherished goal... but you will have to listen to the show to hear

3. Open To Create... goes to Brighton!
Creative MOTs Day in Brighton 13th September 2012
We are blessed to have had a range of clients & friends to Open To Create...
based in and around Brighton – so we are going on an Away Day.
During the day on 13th September 2012 Brighton based artists & creatives can
book in FREE taster Creative MOT diagnostic sessions. Sessions will take place
over an hour in a central Brighton meeting space – venue to be confirmed.

is founder of Dream Corner a radio show about inspiring women of all ages to
follow their dreams and passions. Viv herself is a living embodiment of this

Accident & Emergence...
are an ever evolving partnership between the inspirational Anika Carpenter &
Ellie Howitt. They met in 2007 and discovering a shared desire to create
developmental opportunities for fellow artists, Accident & Emergence ( A&E )
was born! Under this guise the pair have created projects that encourage
participants to re-examine their individual creative processes & chosen subjects,
& re-consider how their work is presented, interpreted & critiqued.

• Creative Visioning Retreat
Spend a whole weekend with 9 other creative practitioners and /or
business owners sharing conversations and creative practical
sessions to vision yourself your most creative & successful 2013.
You will hosted in a cosy, exclusive National Trust property with a
twist 1 ½ hours out of London – more details once you apply.
You will be fuelled by creative company, home cooked food, warmed
by a well stoked wood burner and nurtured by walks in nature.
During your weekend you will be lead by Anna B. Sexton and guest
facilitators working with a range of tools from walking meditations,
one to one coaching sessions and group making sessions.
Potential dates;
8th-9th December 2012 or 25th-27th January 2013
Prices will be £500 per person.
Places are limited to 10 sharing the house – to register your interest.
