consists of a sandwich, a packet of crisps,

packet!) on the meat and usually the
vegetables. One of the vegetables is
almost always potatoes.

It is common to eat a dessert (also
known as a pudding, or informally as
afters) after the main dish.

food of England. It
became popular in
the 1860's.
20. Puddings and Cakes

sugar, eggs, flour
and butter and
fresh fruit such as
raspberries or
strawberries,
custard, cream,
and cakes.
