Comparative adjectives is use to compare two
things or two people.
Esteban is fatter than Lyan.
Or
Lyan is thinner than Esteban.

4. RULES
There are some specific rules to form the
comparatives, these depend of the adjective if
it is:

irregular and
long adjectives.

5. REGULAR ADJECTIVES
• Usually form the comparative by adding-er to the
adjective
small (pequeño) - smaller (más pequeño)
• If the adjective ends with e, only add r to form
the comparative:
Large (grande) – larger (más grande)
• To form the superlative change er for the and est
with the same rules:
The largest (el mas grande)

6. REGULAR ADJECTIVES
• If the word ends with a consonant and then Y
change the Y for i then add-er.
Easy (fácil) - easier (más fácil)
• If a word ends with a consonant, a vowel, then
another consonant and the stronger the last
syllable, double the last letter before addinger.
Hot (calido) – Hotter (más calido)
