This document discusses a student project called Project Yesu that sponsors education for children in 65 countries through 122,000 classrooms. For $24,000, one can sponsor 7 children. The student started the project in 6th grade and has sponsored the building of a library with 23 other students. It notes that out of 14 teachers, only 3 showed interest in what the student is doing in Uganda. It poses the question of what happens when one understands that their actions count and they matter.
