The artificial christmas tree buying guide
1. The Artificial Christmas Tree Buying Guide
Just Christmas offers many different types of artificial Christmas tree so we will explain here the
differences between our trees. The table at the bottom shows which trees come with in which
price range.
The first and most obvious difference is the colour. We have 9 different styles of green tree and
two styles of white tree.
All our trees come in 3 different heights - 5ft, 6ft and 7ft
Green Trees
Our green Artificial Christmas Trees come in 3 price bands, value, standard and top of the
range.
The Value trees are the North Valley and the Kingswood Pencil .The North Valley 7ft version
has 1096 tips and is a full size tree. The needles are made from the usual wafer thin plastic and
make a 2 inch branch. The Kingswood is a pencil slim tree, see below for more on tree width.
The standard tree is the Dunhill . This is our most popular tree, the 7ft version has 2144 tips. The
needles are made from the usual wafer thin plastic and make a 1.5 inch branch. The Dunhill
comes as a full size tree and in a slim version.
The top of the range tree is the Balsam . The 7ft version has 3105 tips. This tree has rubber "real
feel" needles that taper in at the needle tip and is very hard to tell apart from a real tree. Not all
the tips have rubber needles, the inner braches have the tradition plastic needles but you hardly
notice they are different unless you look closely.
Slim or Full Size?
If you don't have the room or the desire for a full width trees then most of our trees come as
either a full width size or a slim width. A typical full size tree is 41 to 55 inches at the base, a
slim tree is 35 to 43 inches at the base. The Dunhill and Balsam have both options available but
the Kingswood Pencil tree is even slimmer at just 24 to 29 inches at the base.
White
The popular Dunhill tree comes in a full width and slim white version.
Let there be lights!
The budget range North Valley and the mid-range Dunhill also come as pre-lit tree. With 300,
400 or 500 LED lights in four different colours on them. At the push of a button you can switch
between multicoloured lights and white lights
