4.  The real world is launched in 1991, being the
first reality TV show MTV has launched.

6.  Total Request Live, originally began as MTV
Live the daily predecessor to TRL. It was last
aired in November of 2008. This signified the
“death” of music TV.

7.  MTV still plays music videos, but only on
AMtv and has it’s own segments known as
Wake and Shake. In other words, you won’t be
able to watch any of them unless you want to
stay up until 3 in the morning on a
weeknight.
 Now you can watch shows like Jersey Shore,
16 and Pregnant, and Teen Mom.

8.  Shows like Teen Mom and 16 and Pregnant
are influencing young teenagers to get
pregnant in order to be on TV and to get
famous.
 Shows like Jersey Shore are bringing in words
into every day lives like “GTL” and “grenade”.
Even guy are trying to look like the men on
the show.
