What is Social Media Monitoring?
Monitoring on the social media is a concept that permits users to track a brand’s
mentions on the web, analyse them using graphical representations, comments
or posts, to keep a tab on the competitors of the brand, analyse the sentiments
and receive alerts on the keywords inserted by the user. It is a software that
works in favour of a user by providing them insights for a particular brand. One of
the innovative features of monitoring is Sentiment Analysis.
What is Sentiment Analysis?
Users across the web discuss about various issues on a daily basis, they talk about
many topics and concerns. Sentiment Analysis, a feature of online monitoring
differentiates between the mentions that a brand receives over the web. There
are three basic divisions into which sentiment analysis segregates all the
mentions.
1. Positive- Our tool uses a green colored smiling face to portray a positive
statement made by a user in lieu of the brand.
2. Negative- This is showcased as a sad face, the face is shown in red signifying
danger.
3. Neutral- Shown as a yellow neutral face
What are the uses of Sentiment Analysis?
