National Association of Black Journalists – Print Journalism Task Force (NABJ PJTF) - Print Members
represent that foundation upon which NABJ was established in 1975. NABJ’s Print Journalism Task
Force, which is comprised of all members who work for and/or own print format publications
including newspapers, magazines and multimedia in addition to emerging (student) journalists
interested in pursuing a career in print journalism, is fast becoming a prominent resource to educate,
engage and empower the diverse members of NABJ to better prepare them to proactively address
the changes in the industry. NABJ is the nation's largest ethnic media organization, with a combined
membership of 3,000 including print, broadcast, digital professionals; emerging journalists, public
relations representatives, journalism educators, freelancers and corporate supporters. The NABJ PJTf
HEB Suite provides an informal space for meetings and discussions designed for strategic
collaborations.
New U - New U is the nation’s only minority media entrepreneurial training ground. It provides a
diverse array or services and programs to encourage diverse entrepreneurship and collaborations
within the media industry. It services all four of the minority media associations:
National Association of Black Journalists
National Association of Hispanic Journalists
Asian American Journalists Association
Native American Journalists Association
