• We thought on the number 20. The
half is for the oldest son, so there are
10 sheep left. 1/3 of the 20 sheep are
for the sencond son, so aproximately 7
are for them. 1/9 are for the youngest
and rounding we get 3 sheep.

• If we substract 1 sheep for each son to
have 17, the oldest has 9, the second
has 6 and the youngest has 2.
• 9+6+2=17.
