DHR INTERNATIONAL PLACES MANAGING DIRECTOR, PENSION FUNDS FOR
DELTA AIRLINES CORPORATION
ATLANTA, GA, September 2011 – Global executive search firm DHR International is pleased to announce the
completed search for the Managing Director, Pension Funds for Delta Airlines Corporation. Jonathan Glidden joins
the firm with over 12 years of experience in institutional portfolio management. Mr. Glidden will oversee more than
$17 billion in defined benefit and defined contribution assets for Delta. The search was led by Jim Schroeder,
Executive Vice President, with support from Aneil Luhan, Vice President, both of whom are based in the firm’s
Chicago headquarters.
In this role, Mr. Glidden is responsible for leadership of the company’s objectives with respect to the investment
strategy of the Plans’ assets and evaluation of the outsourcing model. He will also oversee, in conjunction with
external consultants, asset allocation policy and manager due diligence/selection processes, the manager
performance monitoring process as well as providing leadership and direction with respect to asset allocation and
manager due diligence/selection for a broad range of asset classes (U.S. Equity/Global Equity, Fixed Income, Private
Equity, Hedge Funds, Real Estate). In addition, Mr. Glidden will also serve on the Joint Investment Committee with
key executives within Delta and from each of Delta’s fiduciary partners.
Prior to Delta, Mr. Glidden served as Director of Portfolio Construction and Manager of Research for Wilmington
Trust Investment Management. From 2001 to 2007 he was Director of Investment Analysis at Emory Investment
Management. Mr. Glidden graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a B.Sc. in Mechanical
Engineering and also earned an MBA from Emory University and a M.Sc., Financial Mathematics from the
University of Chicago.
