Purpose of the study:
The effectiveness of distance learning program of physical therapy
instruction thatcombines classroom lecture and discussion via
compressed video technology with laboratory experiences on
achievement of the learning objectives .
Audience:
students at the University of Kentucky
Findings:
there was no statistically significantdifference in the outcome measures
utilized to compare the distance learners with the on-site learners.

Study Title:
Navigational Tools' Effect on Learners' Achievement and
Attitude
Purpose of the study:
2. to examine how the use of different navigation tools influence
the knowledge acquisition and attitudesof learners of different ability
levels
Audience:
High ability level students
Findings:
Results show a significantgain in achievement for high ability level
students using the navigation tool search engine. Significantdifference in
attitude wasfound for all ability levels using the navigation tool menu.
