Commentary:
Each day, there is one single deposit
amount that leaves the restaurant. The
previous working manager will count
up all the money made on a certain
shift. Then the money is double-
checked by another trusted employee. I
love using the deposit and can’t wait to
be old enough to be trusted with the
money alone. Counting and handling
that amount of money makes me
realize how important this task is and
it makes me feel more like an adult.
