Name of the game: Memory Game
Age group: 4-6
Number of players: 2-3
Subject: English
Objectives:
- The child must be able to find the corresponding name of the color.
- The child must be able to know the number on the dice (1-2-3-4-5-6)
- The child must be able to know when his turn is.
- The child must be able to follow the instructions.
- The child must be able to know to be patient.
Procedure:
- There are 30 cards. 15 of them have the following colors: pink, blue, yellow, green, and
orange. And the other 15 have their names.
- The cards are placed in front of the children in a shape of a square, faced down. Each
column has 6 cards numbered from 1 to 6.
- The first child throws the dice, for example, he gets the number 3, the picks the card
(from any column he wants) which is numbered 3 and flips it. He gets a color or a word
representing a number, the child must guess where corresponding card is.
- If the child guesses the place of the corresponding card, then it's his turn again.
- If the child did not guess where the place of the corresponding card is, then it's his
friends turn.
- If the child when throwing the dice got a number 3, and all the number 3 cards are
flipped then he can throw the dice again to get an another number.
