The three-toed sloth lives in trees in the rainforests of Brazil and South America, eats leaves, buds, and twigs, has grayish brown fur, uses hooked claws to hang from tree branches, and spends most of its time sleeping in the treetops while traveling slowly from branch to branch with its arms and legs.
