Students scoring basic decreased from 17.7 to

7. Veterans MSA scores greatly exceed the MSDE
AYP standards as well at the Howard County
Standard
Veterans Elementary school showed continued
growth from last year from 82.3% to 87%

BUT THERE IS STILL WORK TO
BE DONE…
When we drill down the data, we can see that
the subgroups of African American (23.9%),
FARM (21.1%), and especially Special
Education (40.7%) scored basic
