3. Why do we need to study
a frog?
Because of its beautiful skin, and
also known with its poison called
bufotoxins. Many people are amazed
when they see a frog doing something
like swimming, jumping, walking and
running, burrowing, climbing and
gliding

The male fertilizes the eggs as
they are shed, over the course of
about 10 minutes.
5. Beginning the Life Cycle:
Eggs
Each egg has three jelly coats
which swell with water to
enclose it.
7. Young Frogs
The tail of the tadpole shortens, the
metamorphosis is nearly complete. The lungs of
the frog become functional. In two years the frog
will be an adult.
8. Ending the Life Cycle: Adult
The frog sexually mature frog at 3 years.
