10. The Traligill Valley A dry valley. (Unless heavy rain). Dark grey limestone cliff to the north gently sloping pale limestone to the south with limestone pavement. The slope is a thrust plane, the older dark grey limestone has been thrust over the younger paler limestone. The river follows the line of this weakness even underground.
