4. Introduction
The steps below will help you quickly make money from any private label rights
product that relate to Web 2.0, 'IM” niches and traffic generation. Providing that
the PLR product allows you to give it away.
While this method covers PLR reports, the same principles would apply for PLR
software too. You could also use items that have give away rights but wouldn't be
able to do step 1.
Now let's get to it...
Step 1: Prepare the report
You don't necessarily have to modify the report but to get the most benefit from
it, you should:
• Insert your information such as your name & website address.
• Place “side notes” throughout that advertise a related product.
• Insert an “updates” link that goes to an opt-in form to build your list.
• Link specific words or phrases to places that you get some benefit from.
• In the closing, have it lead to another product.
If you don't have an editor and/or PDF creator, you can get a free copy of Open
Office to do the editing and PDF conversion.
Also, I highly suggest you zip the PDF version of the report for distribution so you
can include a “bonuses” folder and put website shortcuts leading to freebies that
pay on a OTO or upgrade in it. You could also include other reports or a PDF of
recommended resources in the zip file.

Step 2: Prepare emails
This step requires a mailing list provider or software. I personally use and
recommend GetResponse for this.
Create a campaign as you normally would and have your instant email send the
download link to the report. You should also thank them for requesting the report.
If you set your campaign settings to “”double opt-in” you could have the follow-
up page when they confirm be a OTO or deliver the report.

5. Once this is done, you should now create follow-up emails to send every 4-7
days. These emails should promote related products to the free report. These
emails could be straight promos, “lesson promos” or “problem promos.”
Basically, a lesson promo email gives valuable content and advertises a product
that will enhance the lesson. And a problem promo tells of problems that people
face and promote a product that is the solution.
For a product deals with “web 2.0” you would promote products like:
• Yahoo Answers Traffic Guide
• Unlimited Social Traffic
• Underground Twitter Secret Manifesto
• Twitter Traffic Swarm
Of course those are just examples and you can find other products with master
rights and/or private label rights at Just Resale Rights.
The last email you need to prepare will be a promotional email that you will use
on step 4 to drive traffic to the site.
Step 3: Setup your site
Before you setup your website, you will need a host and the one I use and
suggest is HostGator. Also, if you don't know how to edit HTML or have an HTML
editor you can use KompoZer. It's free.
To setup your site, you simply put your opt-in form instead of the order button
and place a form below the heading.
When people opt-in, you can do it two different ways to deliver the report.
The first is to display a page instructing them to check their email to confirm their
request if you have double opt-in on. Then when they confirm, you display a OTO.
The OTO should be for a related product(s) and have a “no thanks” link that takes
them to the download page.
The second way would be to display the OTO right after the form is filled out and
tell them to confirm to receive the report. If double opt-in is on.
On the download page, you should include a recommended product
advertisement.
If you would like to have people promote your free report for commission on the
OTO, you could use a script like $7 Secrets. It will also help you setup your OTO

6. easier even if you don't want to offer commissions.
Lastly, to increase your opt-ins, I would strip down the sales letter by removing
most of the graphics. Especially the header.
Step 4: Driving Traffic
To drive traffic to the site, we will use safelists. Safelists are email exchange
systems that allow you to email members in exchange for them to be able to
email you.
The safelists we will be using have free and paid membership options. Some of
them offer an OTO to upgrade for substantial savings and the others allow you to
upgrade at anytime for the same price.
Each site below will requires a contact email address to receive emails from the
site owner and a list email to receive emails from other members. I highly
suggest you open a Gmail accounts to use as the list address as the mail
volumes are high at times.
I personally use the sites listed below and have them listed based on my results.
The best ones first but all are worth while.

iPost Ad is another to use but it doesn't have a free option.
Closing
The only thing you need to do now is to start sending your site promo email at
the safelist sites. You may see opt-ins & OTO purchases the first time you send an
email out or you may not.
Just know that this method does work. I use it daily to generate opt-ins, OTO
sales and follow-up sales for weeks.
My last suggestion is for you to test different subjects, body text, calls to action,
etc. Even if you think you are having great results because it can always be

7. better. You should also test different emails at each safelist because what works
for one might not work as well for another.
In order to easily test and track your different email variations and what works at
which list, I suggest you use tracking software like Covert Conversion Pro.
