18. Thoughts from a US alum....
You get to study in one of the most exciting and culturally
diverse cities in the world, with easy travel access to the
rest of Europe; there’s nothing like it! My time at the
University of Greenwich was an amazing experience. From
the academics to the social activities there was never a slow
moment. I can’t wait to come back!
From the picturesque buildings of the Greenwich campus
designed by Sir Christopher Wren to the top notch
academics I found the University of Greenwich to be the
perfect blend of history and innovation.

“Cultural Awareness, Sensitivity and Tolerance” and an “International
Perspective” Top List of Attributes Valued by HR Execs in Candidates
Who’ve Studied Abroad There are now even more reasons for college
students to consider studying abroad. A new survey of global human
resource executives released today affirmed the value of a study abroad
experience in the hiring process. Nearly three in four (73%) cited study
abroad as important when evaluating the resumé of a job candidate for
a junior–level position.
Furthermore, the study, conducted by Global HR News and commissioned
by The Scholar Ship, showed that 8 in 10 of the HR executives surveyed
believed that a study abroad experience was an important factor for
overseas job placement within their companies.
