What is neonatal nursing? The word neonatal means ‘of or relating to newborn child especially in the first week of life and up to four weeks old’ There are three different levels to neonatal nursing
The Levels Level One – Very uncommon  Level Two – Most common Level Three – Moderately common
Typical Day Get briefed Document on babies charts Talk to parents Brief
Education and Training To become a RN (registered nurse) you must pass a state RN test To be qualified to take the RN test you must have a degree in nursing  Most common is BSN (4 years) You must have a 1 year background in the ICU part of the hospital you will be working at
Salary? Start - 60,000 End – 110,000
Benefits According to Yahoo neonatal nurses are the most content with their jobs Also since you work in the hospital scene you will usually have good health care
