• A test that can be used to measure blood flow
throughout ones veins.
• Uses high frequency sound waves from
circulating red blood cells
• Rate change helps estimate how fast blood
flows

• The process include injection of streptokinase
or plasminogen injected into blood vessels.
This will DISSOLVE the clots
• Most common drug used for this therapy is
tPA (Tissue Plasminogen Activator)
