NIFT calls students, four times the number of seats , for the final and qualifying round of
Situation Test. Situation Test is held at the various NIFT centers all across the country.
The student is provided with materials like, candles, ice cream sticks, play dough, mount
board etc.. They are given three hours to make a three dimensional model of an object
described in the Design Brief. Candidates are assessed for
•Quality of Material manipulation •Conceptualization skills
•Innovative ideas •Working methodology.
•Aesthetic appeal & Neatness .
Situation Test has a 20% weight age of marks, but can be a deciding factor, in your admission.
