• You should pay the going rate for the job that
people perform
• Distinction between role of a Member as an
employee and as an owner of the business

• Democracy doesn’t have to mean that
everyone is involved in every decision
• Responsibilities and powers can be delegated,
BUT will always be held accountable!

• In some instances being a co-op gives you a

• Dedicated support advisors and programmes
