marketing plan. The competition will test the participants on their conceptual as well as practical awareness

General Instructions for “This Is It” competition:
1. The event is open to all B-school students only.
2. Each team should consist of a minimum 4 and a maximum 6 members.
3. Awards for “This Is It” winners:

4. Students of Aditya Institute of Management Studies & Research would not participate in the
any of the competition.
5. The core values at AIMSR are Transparency, Honesty and Mutual Respect. College names
and information about the your ideas, concept, documents would not be shared with any other
participating teams. Do not mention your, institute/organization name in the powerpoint
presentation. Final presentation attire: Business Formals
7. The students can be from any stream of specialization and any year. One student cannot be a
part of multiple teams.
8. All decisions in matters of eligibility, authenticity & final judgment will rest with the Team
ESDM168, AIMSR Mumbai & the panel of Judges.
9. The format & structure of the event is subject to change before the actual beginning of the
event
10. International teams shall present using Video Conferencing facilities if selected for the final
round

Step 2: The case study will be emailed to the participants on their registered e-mail id

questions mentioned in the case study.

Scoring System: 100 points
The Top selected teams have to give present their idea on the case study given in
Qualification round. (Powerpoint slides / content can be changed for round 1)
Rules for Case Study Presentation:
a. Each team should consist of a minimum 4 and maximum 6 members..
b. The time limit for each team is 15 minutes
(12 minutes for presentation and 3 minutes for Q & A)
c. There is no restriction on number of slides to be presented
d. All the presentable content should be submitted to the student coordinator before the
competition starts.

into the about Training & Development activities at Reliance Infrastructure Limited. Let your HR

‘On Campus’ Competition of the selected teams on 26th Feb, 2014
(Reporting Time: 9.00 am)
Round 1: HR Live Case study presentation
Scoring Scale: 100 points
The selected teams have to present their ideas on same case study given in Qualification
round. (Powerpoint slides / content can be changed for round 1)
Rules for Case Study Presentation (Round 1):
i.
Each team should consist of a minimum of 2 and maximum of 4 members.
ii.
The time limit for each team is 10 minutes
(8 minutes for presentation and 2 minutes for Q & A)
iii.
There is no restriction on number of slides presented
iv.
All the presentable content should be submitted to the student coordinator
before the competition starts of the competition.
v.
Expected content for the PowerPoint presentation :
a. Overview and your understanding of the case study
b. Presentation the best practices of the T &D company
c. Answering the 2 questions mentioned in the Case Study given
d. Your practical & executable suggestions for the T&D department
This round can be an elimination round depending on the number of teams participating
Round 2: Debriefing Outdoor Management Games / Experiential Training
Scoring Scale: 100 points
This is a deal breaker round where the students would be judged on their observation and
debriefing skills through the means of their understanding of Emotional, Learning & Takeaway
(ELT) of any management game.
Step 1: 2 Management games would be played by some students randomly selected by the AIMSR
Team.

Step 2: The participants will observe these students play the management games for almost 1 hour.
Step 3: After the Management games are over, 15 minutes would be given to each team for
brainstorming amongst them.
Step 4: Each team would be provided with 2 Chart Papers, White board (during Presentation ) & 2
marker pens.
Step 3: Each participating team would be given 7 minutes to talk about the Emotional,
Learning & Takeaways (ELT) that they have learned and observed in the last 1 hour.
Winners: 1st& 2nd winning team would be declared on the basis of the total scores of 2 rounds
i.e. total score of 200 Points
