Overview
This deck highlights Adam Bauer’s integrated marketing portfolio from 2003 through 2012.
Adam created and produced these programs through his solely owned LLC, Big Sky Media, delivering
programs with music technology companies imeem, Myspace, and Soundtracking and independently for
the brands of Scion, Monster Energy Drink, Sonos, and many more.
Adam managed team sizes varying in size from 2 to 30 people to produce these programs.

Overview
• Adam has created and produced integrated marketing programs since 2003 that include over
500 branded events.
• The majority of those 500+ events occurred in 25 different markets across the U.S. during the
Emerging Artists Tour and BEAT Tour that Adam created with title sponsorship from Scion from
2003 – 2008.
• Since 2008, these programs have been more digitally focused with the live event as just one
variable to the entire program.

Party
Description: A super secret concert by Bloc Party on September 18, 2008 at Roseland Ballroom attended by over 3,000
people and announced only three days before the show coordinated with Atlantic Records to promote the upcoming
release of Bloc Party’s Intimacy album. Entry required an RSVP through each person’s imeem account.
Goals: Increase imeem brand awareness and connectivity with tastemaking music fans in the New York metro area.
KPIs: Number of increased imeem user accounts from the New York metro area + number of event attendees
Highlights: Exceeded expectations of all KPIs

TOUR
Description: An annual nationwide tour from 2003 – 2005 lasting six months in 25 U.S. cities highlighting the best local
DJs in each market sending the best local DJ to the annual Winter Music Conference.
Goals: Create a connection between the local nightlife community in 25 U.S. markets and the new Scion brand that
launched in 2003 to increase Scion brand awareness and differentiate it as a “cool, affordable car” against its
competitors.
KPIs: Number of event attendees and local DJ submissions, Month to Month sales of Scion cars
Highlights: Scion dealerships in the participating markets were sold out of Scion vehicles during the duration of the tour.

TOUR
Description: An annual nationwide tour from 2006 – 2008 lasting six months in 25 U.S. cities giving local DJs the chance
to upload their set mix on imeem.com for the chance to open for national headliners in their city.
Goals: Continue to differentiate the Scion brand as a “cool, affordable car” against its competitors by accessing the early
adopters and tastemakers in each of the participating markets.
KPIs: Number of event attendees and local DJ submissions, Month to Month sales of Scion cars
Highlights: Generated over 1,000,000 plays of all DJ set submissions on imeem.com proving the viral benefits of a
digital technology partner for the Scion brand. Scion vehicles continued strong sales in all participating markets.

Description: An online DJ remix contest utilizing Myspace and Soundcloud with paid media served through Myspace and
Ticketmaster combined with a 4 City Tour with headlining DJs in Miami, Los Angeles, New York, and Chicago.
Goals: Connect the Heineken brand with the community of EDM DJs and influential social media all stars.
KPIs: Social media reach through Myspace, Soundcloud, Facebook, and Twitter + the number of event attendees and
DJ remix submissions

IQ
CITY
Description: A location based program utilizing foursquare’s API to drive consumers to Scion dealerships to test drive the
new Scion iQ. Delivered 942 foursquare Tips at 942 venues in 15 metro areas generating over 60,000 mobile exposures
a month with no purchased media. Focused on the five state region of Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, and
Mississippi (GST Region).
Goals: Increase awareness of the new Scion iQ, increase traffic at Scion dealerships, and connect it with getting around
your city easier and more efficiently.
KPIs: Number of iQ test drives, number of Tip exposures, increase in social search of Scion dealerships, number of
connected foursquare accounts
Highlights: Generated over 60,000 mobile exposures a month, the GST Region became the #1 seller of Scion iQs
during the program.
