2. Hǔ Qiū (Tiger Hill) is probably the most famous attraction in all of Suzhou and has more than 2500 years worth of history to tell . Within the park walls, there are lots of great sights, filled with history and legend. Tiger Hill also houses the Yunyan Pagoda atop the hill. It was built in the 6 th BC century, and then rebuilt in 961 BC. The pagoda itself is almost 160 feet tall (48m) and weighs over 600 tons. The pagoda had begun to lean when it was stabilized at an angle of 4 degrees. Aside from the Yunyan Ta Pagoda, Tiger Hill is known for its beautiful gardens, paths, and vistas. Tiger Hill is the final resting place of the ruler of ancient Suzhou, He Lu. The area was named Tiger Hill after a tiger was seen lying on He Lu's tomb.

16. THE SWORD POND (Jianchi) King He Lu was a great warrior and a famous sword collector. The Sword Pond is alleged to hold his 3,000 odd swords, including "Bianzhu" and "Yuchang" precious swords, in its watery depths.
