- ClaimsPoint offers multiple tiering, allowing treaties, binders and facilities to be set up as master covers above individual policies and their corresponding claim files. Using the template engine, a business line or client specific system template can be set up – with data capture sheets, workflow and reporting tailored to fit the specific requirements of each business line or client.
- This screenshot illustrates a three tier system template with a binder file that has been created. Binder or Master Cover summary details can be easily viewed and the individual policy files falling under that binder can be clicked on to reveal the next tier down. Inserting a contact at the master cover tier facilitates access by the contact to that master cover file and to all policies falling under it, and to all claims falling under each of those policies.
- View policy information and access policy documents. Click on one of the historic claims falling under that policy to view the entire claim file or create a new claim under the policy. Enter the risk proportions of co-insurers.
- Click on a claim file to see a summary of the claim and to action the file. Update the claim details at any time. If you are a loss adjuster or lawyer, record some time spent on the file or a disbursement or raise an invoice. Create a file note – this is automatically stored in chronological order within the document repository for the claim.
- Enter or update reserves and track the history of reserves throughout the lifecycle of the claim. View all claim documents. Create a task, set the deadline and use the traffic light system, with automatic reminders if the task remains outstanding, to monitor progress and performance. For loss adjusters and lawyers, view a summary of billed and unbilled time and disbursements.
- ClaimsPoint automatically time and date stamps every activity and a summary is displayed at super-user level for audit, regulatory and compliance requirements. Financial transaction history for each claim is captured and displayed for easy viewing. For loss adjusters and lawyers, invoices and credit notes can be stored separately from other claim documents.
- Make use of the integration with Microsoft Office and open a document template to create a letter, fax or report. ClaimsPoint document templates can be configured to auto-enter data fields that you specify, allowing free text entry around this if required.
- Electronic message templates (for email, fax or SMS) can be configured with auto data entry and free text entry. All messages, once sent, are automatically stored within the claim repository. Emails are sent via your company email server with a copy stored in the claim repository.
- The powerful management information system can be configured to provide an infinite number of report types, providing your business with meaningful management information in real time. Reports can be generated in Microsoft Excel or in their native format. Monthly bordereaux can be created automatically and shared immediately with colleagues, suppliers or clients.
- For loss adjusters and lawyers, a credit control module automatically drives your business towards better cash flow by reminding you of outstanding invoices and allowing the generation of reports so that trends can be spotted before they have a chance to impact your business.
- ClaimsPoint’s centralised address book, contact and supplier database streamlines your capture and reference to key contacts and allows electronic access to be given to a chosen contact at any level within the system (binder, policy or claim) if required.
