In honor of the NCAA® March Madness Tournament, Y&R created its own tournament using our proprietary BrandAsset® Valuator (BAV®) database. BAV® is the world’s longest running quantitative study of brand—actively tracking more than 3,500 brands among more than 16,000 adults in the United States every year. The study provides an empirical and historically validated demonstration of how brands grow and decline, and ultimately impact the financial performance of their businesses. We took 64 iconic American brands, 16 from each region, and had them face-off against one another.
