God’s gift was not a spirit of timidity, but the spirit of power, and
love and self-control.
So you are never to be ashamed of witnessing to the Lord.

So that we can go from this place with fire in our hearts.
Empowered by your Spirit, we ask for the strength
To contribute our time, talents and treasure for the good of all.
We ask that we have the courage to follow the call of Pope Francis
To ‘Go, do not be afraid and serve’ others
We pray that this Youth Friday will bring new life into our hearts
and into our Church and allow our youth ministry to grow so that
more young people will experience the treasures of our faith. We
ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen
