2. • This picture recaps a wonderful season that I had with my
soccer team in our 2010 season. I helped lead the team to a top
five finish, playing a major role in defense . At the end of the
season, I was award Most Valuable Player and Best Defensive
Player of the season award from my club.
3. • Ontario Secondary School Diploma and Harriet Tubman
Community Organization Inc Certificate. I received the Diploma
after completing my high school studies and the certificate for
participating in Youth Honouring Community Achievements where I
helped kids and document the adventures using a video camera. I’ve
learn that even though it is just a paper, having a high school
diploma is helpful and you need it to move on further in life. The
outcome is that I graduated high school and helped other kids.
4. • This was the first time ever since I’ve been playing on my soccer
team that we have ever made it to our league cup finals. I played
a major part in getting my team there scoring a free-kick in the
semi-finals to help lead the lead to a 3-2 victory. Even though
we did not win the finals, I’ve learn never to give up as we did
not in the semis and scored a last minute winner to get through
and that if you work hard you’ll achieve your goal. At the end of
the day we finished runners up.
5. • Scarborough Soccer Malvern Lightening my soccer team since
I’ve moved to Canada in 2008. We are not just a team of friends
but we are more than that, we are a family. I’ve learn that you
don’t have to come from the same background or place of birth
to be a family. The love of the beautiful game soccer can bring
anyone together. In the end I have new friends that are there for
me now and can help me in the future, even it’s a link to a job
connection or business connection.
6. • This was back in Jamaica in my primary school receiving my
prefect badge. I was a one of some selected few that was chosen
to be part of a student body of the school. After I was selected
things changed and I had to do things I’ve never done before or
not comfortable doing. But the experiences allowed me to
become more responsible as I had duties to carry out.
