HoganTaylor, LLP is a 200+ employee tax,
accounting and consulting firm with four
offices — two in Oklahoma and two in
Arkansas, plus a few staff members who
work remotely. Brought together through
mergers, one of the firm’s biggest challenges
was the lack of standardization. The various
offices had different software platforms and
different workflows.
Two years ago, the firm moved all of its
offices to Wolters Kluwer’s software in order
to streamline, modernize and standardize

and features a tax calendar, lists of average
itemized deductions, selected depreciation
tables, rate tables, checklists of income,
deduction and medical expense items, and
more. These resources address how particular
tax items and situations should be treated
and provide quick and clear answers to
client questions.
The firm went digital with the guide, which
saves having to buy 100 versions of the
guide each and every year. The mere cost of
print versus the electronic version provides
significant savings. And, because the digital
guide is integrated into the tax platform, staff
can search something through Google®
and get
U.S. Master Tax Guide results.
