I strongly recommend my colleague, Bill Swithers for employment. I have
had the pleasure of working alongside him for two years at the Village
Beach Club, where he has been entrusted with a great deal of responsibility.
First as hardworking bartender/kitchen supervisor and then quickly being
promoted to the Food and Beverage Manager for our two clubs, the Village
Beach Club and Nags Head Golf Links. During his tenure at this position he
has been able to increase revenue at both locations while lowering costs for
both goods and labor.
I have had the opportunity to observe Bill's professional skills as well as
interpersonal style. He is consistently a team player, and takes on all
assignments with enthusiasm and dedication. He is an asset to both of our
clubs.
Regardless of deadlines or other pressure, Bill always delivers. His
organizational skills make him the ideal multi-tasker. Bill is also very
flexible and eager to take on new challenges. For example, in his first year
during the busy summer season we needed a kitchen manager to step up and
fill in. Bill volunteered and made an immediate and positive impression on
the staff. While we will surely miss seeing Bill at the clubs, he has earned
the opportunity to further his career.
