the late 1940's early 1950's by
surfers in California, that wanted
something to surf when the waves
were flat it was called Sidewalk

resulting in shops reluctant in
selling them and parents reluctant
to buy them
1966, the sales of skateboards had
dropped significantly, and the
skateboarding magazines stop
getting published
The popularity of skateboarding
was very low till the early 70's
